Hearns and Roach Go to Hall of Fame

Thomas Hearns and legendary trainer, Freddie Roach is included in figure 13 was elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

Hearns who has the nickname "Hitman" has a fight record of 61-5-1 with 48 knockouts as a professional boxer. As an amateur boxer he has a fight record of 155 wins and 8 loses. One of the boxers suffered defeat Indonesia, Syamsul Anwar Harahap in Jakarta, 1976.

In its heyday in the decade of the 1980s, Hearns won five world titles and is the first boxer who became world champion in four different classes. He never faced a boxer, boxing legend like Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard Marvin Hagler want any.

While Freddie Roach is currently the coach of legendary Filipino boxer, Manny Pacquiao and several other world champion boxer.

"I began my career in professional boxing with Eddie Futch and now we are together (in the Hall of Fame). I feel very honored," said Roach.

The names of other entries include boxing presenter Michael Buffer, television commentator Al Bernstein and boxing journalist Michael Katz.
