The artists who are members of the Community Bandung Ke'ruh strongly condemns acts of vandalism several sculptures puppet Bima, Semar, Ghatotkacha and human statues perched in a number of locations in Purwakarta, West Java.

"So first, we're from Bandung Ke'ruh Artists Community concerned over the destruction of the statue incident. In essence, we strongly condemn the events of the destruction of the traditions that exist in a region," said the representative artists of the Community Ke'ruh Tisna Sanjaya House Cultural Center Foundation Naripan street, Bandung, Friday.

Tisna said, but was concerned and strongly condemns acts of vandalism in Purwakarta puppet statue on Sunday (09/18/2011), he and several other parties such as the Chairman of West Java FUUI Da'i KH Athian Ali Mosque Jabar Gratitude of the Union will hold a dialogue to looking for the solution of the problem.

"In addition to the attitude of concern and knocked, have also followed the advice to engage in dialogue with various parties to find a solution," said Kang entis, Sanjaya Tisna familiar greeting.

He said that if local government and communities are not eager to complete the destruction of the statue of puppets in Purwakarta, he worried the problem will be prolonged.

"If all the silent, especially local authorities, I am concerned events puppet destruction of statues in Purwakarta is prolonged without a solution and justify some groups to do the same on behalf of a particular religion," he said.

He hoped the incident could be a valuable lesson for Purwakarta to be more responsive city government in solving the problems of tradition and religion.

"The government must learn from these events. Hopefully a solution will be sought so that the art or can be united with the religious traditions and circumstances.

Last week, hundreds of puppets that destroyed several statues perched in a number of locations in the city of Purwakarta, West Java.

The statues were destroyed, among others, sculpture puppet Bima, Semar, Gatotkaca, and human statues.
