Abu Grimsvotn Cancel 500 Flights Europe

About 500 flights in Europe had to be canceled because of volcanic ash volcanic eruption in Iceland Grimsvotn has filled the air. Wind direction changing to make official route of transmission is difficult to predict the ashes.
This was conveyed by Eurocontrol, the body regulating European air traffic, based in Brussels, Belgium, was launched from the pages of The New York Times, Tuesday, May 14, 2011. According to the statement, Eurocontrol said as many as 500 out of 29,000 flights across Europe to Britain were canceled.
Brian Flynn, chief operating network of Eurocontrol, said the flight ban after officials found the thickness of the ash in the atmosphere of Britain's Heathrow airport could damage a jet engine. However, the ash has not had time to cause damage to one aircraft engine.

"There is no significant disruption in the London area within 24 hours," said Flynn.
He said the possibility of cancellation of flights will also be carried out in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Scandinavia. However, the agency says predicted weather in London is difficult because the wind was still uncertain.
Currently, many airlines in the UK with Scotland and Iceland want to encourage passengers to check their flight status again. This is so that no accumulation of passengers at the airport.

Grimsvotn volcanic eruption would cause chaos was allegedly not the same as last year's eruption of a volcano Eyjafjallajokull that another 100,000 flights were canceled and millions of passengers trapped. However, due to ash Grimsvotn, President of the United States, Barack Obama was forced to shorten his visit to Ireland for fear of ash covered the air.
