Yorkshire - A test to prove that postal pigeons to deliver information faster than the download process Internet data.

Perhaps this sounds like a joke to some people, but if the internet connection from the user is slow, then it certainly would not have sounded funny, as quoted from Pocket-Lint, Sunday (19/09/2010).

In the field of Yorkshire, England, conducted an experiment by releasing 10 pigeons carrying the USB disk. Pigeons was traveling towards Skegness as far as 120 miles for one half hour. Meanwhile, a process of downloading a video file that lasted 5 minutes was also performed at the same time. When these pigeons had reached the destination, the process of downloading the video file has only reached 24 percent of the total file size of 300MB!

Maybe this is not a real scientific experiment, but enough to prove that the internet connection in some areas the UK is still far below the standard.

Some industry observers said that some areas in England have not got the internet network. Year 2015 is the deadline for the British government to ensure that all regions in England have internet service with a minimum level of 2Mbps.
