10 Myths Top Ten Ranking in Google & Yahoo!

SEO Myths seputaran from year to year more and more crazy. There are based on realities on the ground, there is also relying on approximate estimates, due to very difficult to prove a particular SEO action as if that can make the search engines react.
Take for example, when we make a change on one page site, then within a few days you will find the ranking position for certain keywords on Google that have undergone changes. You would assume that the change in rankings in Google are caused by a change in this page. Actually reason these changes are not 100% like that. There are many reasons why your ranking changed, in many cases these changes are not actually related to what you have done.

Mixing mortar between cause and effect is generally the most frequent perpetrators of new SEOs. If things like this only applied and its effect on the work itself is not a problem, however unfounded information is then spread among newcomers (newbies) through the forums and blogs, which then led to new myths.

The following are 10 things related to organic SEO myths:

1. Myth 1: You must submit the URL to search engines. This might just be able to help once in a while, but this trick is too outdated and no longer effective, five or six years ago to do this is still common practice.
2. Myth 2: You need a Google Sitemap. If a website has been awakened to the right or crawler-friendly, Google sitemap is not needed anymore. It would be better if use other Webmaster Tool Centre's Google, with a Google sitemap will not improve the ranking position.
3. Myth 3: You will need to more frequently update the website. Update website regularly conducted to improve the search engine's crawl rate, but will not enhance / improve the rankings. If that website did not need to always be in the fox, do not frequently change it just because you think search engines would be more like it. In fact search engines do not necessarily like it, many websites with high rankings on Google have not changed.
4. Myth 4: Advertise with PPC will assist or lower rank. Very amusing to know many people who do not want to use Google AdWords for fear of lowering the position of the organic rankings on Google, there are also certain that if pairs of PPC can boost rankings. All this has nothing to do between PPC and organic rankings.
5. Myth 5: Your website will be banned by Google if you do not comply with Google guidline. All are listed in the Google guidelines, none of which implies a secret, all public information. If you want please read, but not the means by reading it and then make us instantly become a SEO Engineer. Google's guidelines provide good suggestions.
6. Myth 6: Your website will be banned if you buy links. These myths have no basis of reality, such as Google (especially Matt Cutts) likes to scare people about this. They do not want to engage in paid links to choose a page if they know it, but more often they can not know this. Even if it is known to them, they will not be noticed. It's impossible for them to ban the entire website just for buying a link from another site.
7. Myth 7: H1 (or any other header tags) to determine a high ranking. Very little evidence if the keyword is placed in the H tags will affect the rankings, but then the myth becomes developed. I do own tests on this point seems not so influential, it is rather difficult to determine. H Use this tag if appropriate design or your cms. But it is questionable whether or not to make a difference.
8. Myth 8: Words in the meta keywords tag should be disseminated in the page. I used to perform spread the words on the page. Actually, the Meta keyword tag is not designed for keywords to put in the page or pages. So rather than vice versa. Because google will not notice this tag and used only for uncommon words just on Yahoo, so its influence will be very small.
9. Myth 9: SEO copy must be 250 words. Actually this is quite interesting, because the provision of SEO copy writing along the 250-word first introduced in the late 90s. Actually this figure is just the most fitting number to write down the words in the page as the marketing copy. Long or short does not really affect the most important thing is to use the best possible words to convey your message.
10. Myth 10: You need to optimize the long tail. This is completely unnecessary. With current conditions, long-tail keyword phrase is not competitive, in the sense that not many pages that use those words, and not many people doing searches on search engines for those words. Because of that, the rankings for the long-tail keywords is very easy, just include in a blog post or article, then you will be able terangking for it. But not too optimized.

Before you spread the myth of this or any other SEO info that you think is true, try to do the previous test at many sites. Maybe there will be some who succeed, but remember always that in fact will not always succeed, or are there other factors that affect.
